Workshops
1. Bluetooth Controlled Wireless Robotics :Presented by ARK Technosolutions, this workshop was one of its kind combining exciting features of both, Bluetooth Technology and MATLAB. Workshop contained wireless robotics, ARDUINO Prgramming, Touch Control robot and Demo of Android App control Robot via bluetooth.The workshop successfully accomplished its aim of application and use of technology balancing the details of theory, internal working and practical implementation so that students can grasp the concepts satisfactorily.
2. Android Application Development :
The workshop taught the basics of android OS and application development for people waiting to get proper guidance in this genre.
3. 3D Photography :
The workshop aimed at giving all the photography enthusiasts a platform to create 3D Photographs using any camera and appreciate the mesmerizing view of innovative 3D photographs in this 3D world.
Competitions
1. Source Code 3.0 :IEEE SB NU has been conduction source code since 2 years and has always recieved an outstanding response from professional and amateur coders. Source Code 3.0 is successor of Source Code, challenging the same audience but it gets smarter and well, tougher. This version introduces automated removal of participants who do not stand up to the performance and time limits. Only the best coder survives.
2. Game Craft :
This event provides an ideal platform for students who want to showcase their game development skills. Games developed in any language will be accepted, checked, verified and the top 6 games will be displayed for playing and rating on campus. The winners will be decided on the basis of ratings received.
3. Robo-war and Robo-soccer :
Robo-war and Robo-soccer will be marked by intense competition, mayhem and glory and precisely, is the chance all students interested in robotics have been waiting for. Just as the names suggest, robo-war is the ultimate war between robots and robo-soccer will witness robots designed for efficient penalty-shooutouts.
4. Paper and Project Presentations :
Research papers and projects will be invited from all spheres - B.tech, M.tech and PhD students in various categories of fields like computers, IT, IC, EC, and Electrical.Event is tentatively decided to be organized on the basis of the number of participants received.
5. Online Science-fiction Story Writing Competition :
This unique competition will let the participants to show their creativity, imagination, along with their love for gadgets. Sci-fi stories revolving around the theme of latest devices and technology will be invited. This event combines fun and technology in a 'literary' way.
6. Make it true :
Just as the name suggests, a puzzle video will be shown to the participants and they will have to build hardware related to the information understood from the video.This is an interesting opportunity for students interested in hardware applications, circuit building and debugging.
