AISC 2014

Nirma University having a world class infrastructure and dedicated volunteers from IEEE student branch hosted the AISC in October 2014 which was inaugurated by the advisor of Zydus Cadila Healthcare Group – Shri Sunil Parekh. The first day held a lot of exciting lectures about Next Generation Youth - Art of Innovation, Critical Thinking, Career marathons, Innovations by iCreate, an interactive session depicting the benefits of IEEE and how to run the student branch efficiently followed by a night of breathtaking dancing, singing and drama acts.

The second day was made remarkable by research on space science frontiers and the Indian Mars Mission by Shri Nilesh M Desai (Space Application Centre, ISRO) and the activities by the Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) followed by a visit to Electronics and Quality Development Centre (EQDC) and Circuit Systems India Ltd. (CSIL) and a banquet dinner at Nirma University on occasion of IEEE day.

The final day began with a mesmerising speech on Emotional Intelligence, Decoding the Human Brain using Brainbow followed by the official valediction of AISC – 2014 in the afternoon where details about the GIFT city and the technology used in it were given by Shri Pankaj Gupta, senior VP of IL & FS (GIFT city).
